A Place for Mom Senior Wisdom Scholarship

Description: A Place for Mom is proud to offer scholarships to university students interested in the fields of aging and gerontology. As North America’s largest senior living referral service, we know the importance of supporting the training and education of our future senior care leaders. Scholarships will be awarded to a citizen or a Permanent Resident of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec) who is enrolled and currently taking classes at an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec), and will grant selected applicants a $2,000 financial donation for their compelling submissions on life lessons from a senior.

Description: The Kansas Board of Regents awards various scholarships to Kansas residents seeking to pursue undergraduate and graduate college educations at in-state institutions.

Amie Montgomery Scholarship

Description: The Amie Montgomery Scholarship was established by the Student Ambassador Society, the Montgomery family and other private donations. The purpose of it is to provide financial assistance to outstanding Wichita State University students completing their college education. The scholarship exists because Amie had a tremendous impact on the lives of other students who knew her during her time as a student at Wichita State University. Amie was tragically killed in 1997 but her legacy lives on because of her commitment to WSU and the Wichita community. The diversity of her talents and interests made her a fascinating person, able to identify and relate to many people. The Student Ambassador Society is proud to have had Amie as a founding member and to honor her with this scholarship. The SAS Executive Council will select one applicant to receive a $500 scholarship during the academic year. Eligible applicants must submit a completed data form and a 300-word essay.  
KCKCC - Music Scholarship

Description: The music department offers a three-year, full-tuition vocal music scholarship. The award covers tuition only, not books or fees. Also, the award is only for fall and spring semesters (it is not offered for summer semester). Students can be any major, but preference will be given to music majors.

Ayn Rand The Fountainhead Essay Contest

2020 DreamCatcher Curriculum Scholarship Competition

Deadline(s): The deadline for submission is May 30th at 5:00 pm CST.  Award notifications will begin June 29th. 

Description: DreamCatcher Curriculum is a company founded on the principle that EVERY student deserves their chance to receive a college education in pursuit of their dreams. The company's founders were the first in their respective families to graduate from college and come from a low-income background, knowing first hand the struggles that FGLI students encounter in achieving a college degree. With that in mind, the DreamCatcher Curriculum Scholarship Committee will make a priority of selecting applicants who need assistance the very most.
Full Circle Scholarship

Description: The American Indian College Fund provides scholarships to American Indian and Alaska Native college students seeking under- graduate and graduate degrees at tribal colleges, nonprofit, and accredited schools.
Golden Doors Scholars

Deadline(s): September 30, 2020

Description: Golden Door Scholars was founded in 2013 with the goal of promoting economic mobility for undocumented students. In our first year, we awarded 13 scholarships. Since then, we have impacted 360 Dreamers by partnering with schools to cover tuition, room and board for a four-year degree. Our scholars also have access to mentors, internship and job search support, along with other professional growth opportunities.
Wichita State Scholarship Competitions

Description: Wichita State University invites you to participate in our annual scholarship competitions. A variety of scholarships are awarded to competition participants, including three of the largest scholarships in Kansas!
Angel and Maude Munoz Scholarship

Description: Awards are granted on a first-come, first-served basis provided the applicant is a qualified student. Cosmetology awards may not exceed 50% of the actual tuition cost or up to a maximum of $4,000, whichever is less, for the entire program of study. Community college awards may not exceed 50% of actual tuition cost or up to a maximum of $4,000, whichever is less, per academic year. Students may receive the award for a maximum of two years. Immigrants Rising Scholarships

Description: Immigrants Rising’s Scholarship Fund (previously called New American Scholars Fund) provides financial awards to low-income immigrant college and graduate students who live and/or attend school in the San Francisco Bay Area. We provide scholarships of up to $7,000 to cover tuition and other expenses. Scholars are selected for their academic excellence, financial need, and community impact; they are also expected to maintain a minimum GPA (2.8 for college students and 3.0 for graduate students), and participate in ongoing Immigrants Rising’s programming, events, and activities throughout the year.
