AXA Achievements Scholarships are sponsored by the AXA Foundation in association with U.S. News & World Report, offering college scholarships of $10,000 and $25,000 to high- school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their activities in school, the community or the workplace. Fifty-two winners—one from each state, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico—are selected to receive one-time awards of $10,000 each. From the pool of 52 state winners, 10 are selected as national winners and earn an additional one-time scholarship of $15,000. Scholarships winners are ethnically and economically diverse, but they share these qualities: ambition and drive; determination to set and reach goals; respect for self, family and community; and ability to succeed in college.
